GED Registration
To register for a GED exam please follow the steps below:
- Go to GED.com
- Click on "Sign Up For Your Free Account"
- Use the EXACT name on your photo ID
- Take note of your log-in information
- The cost to take the exam at our test center or online at home is $41 per subject
- The cost for 2 retakes is $15 per subject
- All payments must be completed through GED.com
- All exams must be scheduled on GED.com
- No same-day/walk-in testing is allowed
- No setting appointments over the phone
- Check in 15 minutes before your exam appointment time
- Bring a valid photo ID (eg: Driver's License, Passport, Matricula)
- Bring proof of residency if ID was issued outside of California
- All use of personal electronic devices is prohibited during testing sessions
- Turn off or silence all electronics before entering the testing room
- All items are stored at a designated area at check in
